Our values and standards for Amity’s business partners
Amity is committed to sustainability in all business activities and aims to apply and abide by the highest ethical, social and environmental standards.
Each of Amity’s business partners, including suppliers, distributors, agents, resellers, joint venture partners, customers and strategic partners, are recognized as an important member of the worldwide team contributing to Amity’s success.
Accordingly, Amity strives to conduct business with individuals and organizations who share our commitment to high ethical standards and who operate in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
To reinforce the standards to which we are committed, Amity developed this Business Partner Code of Conduct, founded upon the United Nations Global Compact and our values and standards. If applicable laws and regulations are more permissive than this Code of Conduct, you are expected to comply with this Code of Conduct. Likewise, if applicable laws and regulations are more restrictive, must always comply with those legal requirements.
Thank you for upholding our values and helping us to be the best version of ourselves.

1) BUSINESS INTEGRITY AND COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
Amity will not tolerate any form of corruption or bribery.
Amity is committed to conducting its business free from extortions, bribery and all unlawful, unethical, or fraudulent activity. Amity’s business partners shall not offer, give, promise or authorize any bribe, gift, loan, fee, reward or other advantages to any government official or employee, any customer, or any other person to obtain any business or improperly influence any action or decision. Amity’s business partners shall comply with all applicable international anti-corruption laws and regulations. In addition, Business Partners will not threaten or retaliate against another person who has refused to offer or accept a bribe, or who has raised concerns about possible bribery or corruption.
Amity conducts business with high integrity and within the limits of laws and regulations. We will not allow our business partners to condone or support money laundering in any form in any location on behalf of Amity.
Conflicts of Interest
Amity’s business partners shall immediately disclose and address situations where there is an actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest, or even the appearance of a conflict of interest. Amity’s Compliance and Ethics Team will work with all business partners on concerns raised to address the actual or potential conflict of interest. This includes but is not limited to conflict of interest related to relationships where there may be a direct or indirect financial interest or business advantage, personal financial interests or business advantage and outside business activities.
Amity’s business partners must ensure that any non-public information obtained as a consequence of a relationship with Amity is not used for the personal benefit of the business partner, their employees or other persons.
Amity’s business partners shall only use Amity’s intellectual property, such as trade secret information, copyrights, patents and trademarks, in a manner permitted under their contract with Amity and shall not misappropriate or infringe the intellectual property rights of others. Amity’s business partners shall not misuse any trade secrets or proprietary or confidential information of Amity or of others for their own purposes or disclose such information to unauthorized third parties.
Amity’s business partners shall protect Amity’s confidential information, not disclose it to any unauthorized third party, and use it only for the activities connected with the business of Amity. Neither party may use the other’s confidential information for any purpose but for the business purpose agreed.
Honest and Accurate Dealings
Amity’s business partners shall not make any false representations in connection with any Amity transaction including, but not limited to, oral misrepresentations of fact or the promotion or utilization of false documentation such as non-genuine customer purchase orders, fraudulent or forged contracts, forged letters of destruction or any other false or inaccurate records.
2) LABOUR STANDARDS
Amity’s business partners will not use any form of forced labour, debt bondage, or involuntary and compulsory labour. Business partners will not require employees to surrender any government-issued identification, passports, or work permits as a condition of employment. Business partners shall ensure the working relationship between the worker and business partners is freely chosen and free from threats, intimidation, or coercion.
Business partners will not use child labour. Where the applicable laws do not establish the minimum legal age for employment, “child” means anyone younger than 15 years of age. This minimum employment age is laid down in several conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
Business partners will commit to a workforce free of harassment and unlawful discrimination. Business partners will not engage in discrimination based on any legally protected class or age, race, color, ethnicity, indigenous status, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, medical condition, religion, social origin or status, political affiliation, trade or union membership, or marital or veteran status in hiring or employment practices, such as promotions, rewards, and access to training.
Business partners’ employees will have an employment contract that defines the terms and conditions of employment. Subject to local legal requirements, the contract, at a minimum, will provide fair remuneration at the applicable national statutory minimum wage and comply with the maximum number of working hours laid down in the applicable laws. Further, employees will be treated with respect and dignity. Physical, psychological, or verbal abuse, harassment, threats, or other forms of intimidation are strictly prohibited.
Health and Safety
In accordance with international standards and national laws and regulations, Amity’s business partners will provide a healthy and safe working environment. Health and safety obligations will be applied to parties under the business partner’s control, including employees and contractors working on the business partner’s premises.
3) ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS
Amity’s business partners shall operate in an environmentally responsible and efficient manner to minimize adverse impacts on the environment. Business partners are encouraged to conserve natural resources, avoid the use of hazardous materials, and engage in activities that reuse and recycle resources. Amity’s business partners shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the impact of their business on the environment. Compliance with environmental law includes any international or applicable local laws affecting materials and processes.
The Amity Business Partner Code of Conduct applies to all Amity’s business partners including but not limited to our distributors, resellers, solution and consulting partners, suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
Monitoring and Compliance
Amity may audit compliance with this policy or appoint a third party to conduct an audit. Any violations will be reported to the Amity business partner’s management for their attention and, if appropriate, corrective action will be taken. It is the intention of Amity to terminate its relationship with any business partner who does not comply with this Business Partner Code of Conduct or, upon discovery of noncompliance, does not commit to a specific plan to achieve compliance.
Amity’s business partners and other stakeholders may report alleged violations (in an anonymous and confidential manner) by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
