Cloud Support Engineer

‍About the Role:

As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining cloud computing systems.

Your Day to Day: 

  • Provide technical support and resolve customer reported issues
  • Drive customer communication during critical events and deliver timely progress. 
  • Maintain and manage schedule cases through prioritizing levels of urgency 
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams 
  • Document relevant information 
  • Drive operational excellence through quality closures and proper escalation of issues
  • Understand business and technical requirements for our SaaS solution
  • Deploy and maintain cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code tools and techniques
  • Deploy and support services in Kubernetes, including custom Helm charts
  • Provide effective feedback to Engineering on enhancing the product quality and reliability

Your experience includes: 

  • 3+ years of working experience in Linux administration, we use Ubuntu
  • 3+ years of cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure etc, we use AWS)
  • 2 + years of IaC and configuration management experience, we use Terraform and Ansible
  • 2 + years CI/CD experience, we use Jenkins transitioning to GitLab CI
  • 1+ years Kubernetes experience, we use EKS
  • 1+ years MongoDB experience, currently self-hosted 
  • Fluent in the English language

Our Top Candidates will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field OR any experience in software engineering or quality assurance
  • A good level of PC knowledge
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Coding is a plus
